On Labor Day we went with a group of friends to hike the Narrows in Zion National Park. It was amazing and it is so cool living so close to one of the world's most beautiful areas.
I must admit: I felt a little cheated at the start of the hike. I felt much like Harry Dunn in Dumb & Dumber as I thought to myself, "I expected the Narrows to be a little narrower than this....." But it did get narrower and was quite a place to see. We even found a place where the water was deep enough to go for a brief swim. I say brief because the water was freezing cold!
We had a blast......until we got back to the parking lot.
At least the nice man named Sergio left his phone number!
