Tests and Vegas

A couple weekends back we went down to Vegas with some friends to take these big nasty tests we'd been wasting our lives studying for. We had some unplanned excitement to start off the weekend. We got there and Lisa was trying to check in to the hotel but she couldn't find her license. We got a bit worried, since she needed it for her ID on the test the next morning. We got to the room and essentially tore the entire place apart looking for it. After about 20 minutes, in which I was dead set on driving all the way to St. George and back just to get the license, we realized she had given it to me earlier in the week to have it copied for a scholarship application. Sure enough, there it is in my book bag. Crisis avoided. Fortunately, the weekend only got better from there. We both passed our tests, we went to the Las Vegas temple, and we just enjoyed seeing the sights and having fun.
This was the view from our room on the 11th floor.

We were thinkin' it was a good thing Rex wasn't there, cuz he has a little bit of history with these fellas.
You can't go to Vegas without eating at the Cheesecake Factory!
Turns out the Coca-Cola bear is a bit of a creeper. Just look at the thing!
