Then on Sunday morning we finally noticed the trees right outside our door! They are so pretty this time of year...if only winter could stay away until December 24th...if only....

We love Fall!!
WE do not love Winter, but WE do love FALL! On Friday, we wanted to go on a little date so we picked up some delicious, gourmet, dinner from Wendy's (we're poor college students...don't judge us too harshly) and drove up to this amazing park bench which overlooks the valley. When we got up there, the bench was already occupied by another couple. So we decided to wait. Obviously, it is really awkward to park right behind the bench and 'wait our turn' so we parked on the side of the road behind a fence. So while we were waiting we started pulling out our burger and fries (actually we devoured all our fries before we ever made it to the other side of town) because we were totally STARVING and it was already 7:30 and getting dark. Next thing we know the car behind us flips their headlights on and drives away. So we get out of our car and tip-toe over to the edge of the fence so we can peek at the bench...totally empty! SA-WEET! We take what is left of our food and finish it off as we look out at this...
Pretty awesome, don't ya think?! Then we discussed how awesome it would be if we could build a house up on the hill and get to see this view all the time without 'waiting our turn' for the bench. As the sun continued to set, we somehow started to discuss what we would do if a wild animal just showed up in front of us. Deer: we'd stay right where we were, maybe even try to pet it. Mountain Lion: Run for our lives!!!!!...maybe leave the remainder of our hamburger to slow it down. ha ha...we think we are SO funny! We didn't stay much longer after that......just in case!

I guess Logan isn't TOO bad.......yet! HA. The past two years I have missed out on the season Fall because in St. George there isn't a lot of trees that change colors. But, this year we are enjoying every second of Fall up here in Logan!

Wow, impressive pic of "the view"! I totally know the bench you speak of! Popular little thing. Every time I went there I always wondered how many people were proposed to right there. AND when I was walking by once... I SAW someone proposing! haha But man, isn't Fall the greatest!!! I seem to be noticing it a lot this year too because Seattle, like St George doesn't really have much change in the weather. Although there was a lot of green stuff, unlike St George, it just stayed green! I missed the red, orange, and yeller! :)

I love reading all of you fun posts! I wish we lived closer. We should plan a time to get together. I laughed so hard at your mountain lion comment...but whenever I am in the woods I say the same thing to Nate! Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun!
